The history of development, across the globe, amply demonstrates that education is the key condition for economic, social and political development. Education is the liberating force which gives freedom to human beings from the tyranny of ignorance, poverty and disempowerment.

Review of successful initiatives at human and social development in developing countries, establishes a direct relationship between education and efforts at improving delivery of education and primary health care services and poverty alleviation at the household level.
